- Design Software Trainer – UDS Team – Houston, Texas (On-Site)
- 2+ years of experience in electric/gas utility design or a related role.
- Experience using DDS or similar design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking to individuals and groups both virtually and in person.
- Ability to travel for onsite training as needed.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Previous training or instructional experience preferred.
- Design Engineer – UDS Team – Houston, Texas (On-Site)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in distribution engineering for electric utilities or contractors.
- Knowledge of overhead distribution framing and underground distribution design.
- Familiarity with utility design software (e.g., DDS, ArcFM, PLS-CADD) and asset management systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client needs.
- Senior Design Engineer – UDS Team – Houston, Texas (On-Site)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related engineering field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in product design, manufacturing, and customer experience improvement.
- Strong project development and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
- Advanced knowledge of system security measures, business analysis techniques, and design architecture.
- Expertise in software engineering, design architecture, and prototype analysis.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with various departments to execute project plans efficiently.
- Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in the field, including familiarity with various operating systems and product modification processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client needs.
