Soil Probe Analysis

This July, GSI assisted a large utility with their Engineering Best Practices team. I presented a user interactive station on soil probe analysis using a soil probe. This is a cheap alternative to boring analysis that is commonly used across many utilities’ distribution service area. The emphasis on this course is to make software users aware that Distribution Design Studio has tools at their disposal to test project area soil classes before designing a project. In some scenarios, a project can contain multiple soil classes based on the differing soil conditions. As soil conditions continually change in the project area, Distribution Design Studio can consume the changes at each point location for accurate analysis.
