Engineering Software Solution Streamlines Workflow for Distribution Designers

Washington, PA – Sept. 7, 2022 — GeoSpatial Innovations, Inc. (GSI), a private software company and a leader in engineering solutions for electric and natural gas distribution companies in North America, announced GSI’s Distribution Design Studio (DDS) is in production at Duquesne Light Company (DLC).  The DDS solution at DLC includes integrations with DLC’s Work Management System, Maximo and Esri’s ArcGIS Utility Network and includes structural and electrical engineering analysis.

DLC, headquartered in Pittsburgh, serves more than 600,000 customers in Allegheny and Beaver counties in Pennsylvania.  DLC has made significant investments over the past decade in infrastructure and technology upgrades, including GSI’s Distribution Design Studio, which streamlines workflow and reduces cycle times for its team of Distribution Designers.
